We regularly subject to special supplier qualifications to live up to the trust our customers place in our processes and abilities. In these measures, our customers try out the effectiveness of our management system through an independent company.

One example is control by the China Quality Certification Center (CQC), the largest certification authority in China. Its product certificates impressively prove our process capacity and compliance with production standards as well as quality of goods we sell in China.

The Underwriters Laboratories (UL) are one of the globally most important independent facilities for evaluation, inspection and certification in the area of product safety. They focus on high demands to the electrical safety of goods, as well as on avoidance of risks through flammability and prevention of injury.

With the UL symbol, MANGOLDT products prove that they meet the highly demanding safety requirements under US and Canadian as well as many other international standards – in every detail. For selected chokes, CUL-certification pursuant to File E173113 as a Recognized Component is available. We also offer many core types of insulation material class H with certification to File E173113 H – both with the Recognized-Component symbol and with the CUL-Listed mark.

For many years, our new product developments have also considered sustainability and environmental compatibility. In 2004, all of our products were converted to parts that are compliant with the EU-directive Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous Substances (RoHS).

This directive limits the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic devices and sets strict limits for the maximum concentrations contained in them. RoHS 2011/65/EU confirms that all of our electro-technical products limit the use of lead, mercury, cadmium and other substances to within the permitted concentrations.
